Hi, my name is Ms. Pam. I am the Director here at Creative Wonders Learning Center. I started my career in childcare over twenty-five years ago. I have managed and ran as many as five daycares, at one time, over the course of my career. I have also owned several daycares, of my own. I have consulted with many facilities and helped them become strong centers. I am very excited to be the Director of the Best Daycare in the Valley. I look forward to watching your children grow and learn under the guidance of all of our amazing teachers.
Hi, my name is Ms. Ginia, and I have worked at Creative Wonders since 2004. I started working in childcare centers in 1998, and babysat for family and friends for many years before that. I have worked in every classroom within Creative Wonders, but the majority of my time here was spent as the lead teacher in the Two’s room. I have also been a Supervisor and in 2014 I took the position to be our center’s Assistant Director. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I’m also working towards getting my CDA certification from James Madison University. I love being able to see every child, in every class, throughout the day now, even though I miss spending my daily interactions with the 2yr. olds. I’m a big kid at heart, so I always enjoy getting on a child’s level and talking to them. I enjoy hearing what they have to say, no matter how big or small it is- the things children say never cease to amaze me or make me smile, and my goal is to make a positive difference in every child’s life that attends our amazing center. Art is a passion of mine, I love to draw and paint in my free time. I love listening to music, dancing and watching movies as well. I try to spend as much time with my family as I can, and I enjoy being outdoors, doing just about anything!!

Hi, my name is Ms. Ann. I am the Director of our Summer Camp. I have been working with children of all ages in various capacities for the last 11 years. During college, I worked as a lead teacher in a daycare, a tutor and mentor for People Places, the arts programmer at The Boys and Girls Club of Harrisonburg, and as a company member at the JMU Children’s Playshop. In 2007, I graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in theatre. Shortly thereafter I moved to the great Northwest in search of excellent children’s programming, and landed at The Moonpaper Tent in Seattle, where I proceeded to learn all I could about the art of playing pretend. While at this auspicious establishment, I had the chance write, direct, design, stage manage, and perform in children’s and adults’ productions. I also spearheaded, designed, and taught workshops and classes for several Seattle residential education centers that housed low-income and at-risk kids. In 2012 I left Seattle to train with Double Edge Theatre in Massachusetts and after three months, felt Shenandoah tugging. Since returning to Staunton two years ago, I have established a freelance arts-education and storytelling business called Grimmcrackery, erected an overly-ambitious public arts project with kids from the McSwain Elementary HEART program, conducted workshops for adults, and led a pots and pans parade. I am currently working towards a teaching license at Mary Baldwin and learning to fly.
